Episode 9: Testament Letter of St Guido Maria Conforti
It is about the dimension of fraternal life: Mons. Conforti not only nurtures a very high concept of the missionary vocation, but also a very high and bold ideal of family spirit. Indeed, he knows that the missionary call is incomplete if it does not lead to being and becoming “companions of vocation”.
It is through fraternal relationships that we learn to welcome the others as gifts from God, accepting their riches, differences and limits: “One must love concretely with actions and facts, consoling his confreres when they appear doubting. A single word can be ‘a flash of light’. Console them when they are afflicted. Do not refuse to spread a drop of balm on them. Sustain them in all their needs, in all possible ways.
