To the Lay Xaverians - Fr. Fernando García sx

Dearest sisters and dearest brothers,

I take the occasion of November 5, the memory of our Father and Founder, St. Guido M. Conforti, to send my most fraternal greetings to each of you wherever you are in the different countries where we are present.

This year is a particular grace for our Xaverian family. We celebrate the first centenary of the first Constitutions' approval, which took place on January 6, 1921. This fact has a very specific and particularly relevant meaning for all of us. It marks the official recognition of the Xaverian charism by the Church. Therefore, the Xaverian charism is recognized as a gift of the Spirit for the good of God's plan for humanity.
